Srinagar is a city of contrasts. Behind its lakes and gardens, the older neighbourhoods of the old city carry some of Kashmir's deepest, least visible hardship — households where a single illness, the loss of a parent, or a bad debt can undo a family overnight. Imdaad Foundation grew out of these very lanes, and it is here that our work runs deepest.

How your donation reaches Srinagar
Cancer treatment is long, expensive, and exhausting for families in Srinagar who cannot afford it. Through our Medical Aid fund we support cancer patients from the city with the cost of chemotherapy, diagnostics, and medicines — so that a diagnosis does not become a financial death sentence for the whole household.
Elderly patients in Srinagar living with COPD depend on a continuous supply of oxygen. Rather than forcing families to repeatedly buy costly oxygen cylinders, we provide oxygen concentrators — a one-time device that lets patients breathe at home and spares their families a recurring, unaffordable expense.
When a child loses a parent, education is often the first thing sacrificed. We support orphaned children in Srinagar with school fees, books, and uniforms so they can stay in the classroom — protecting their future at the moment they are most at risk of dropping out.
